Welcome to Community Ecotourism .com, the site of the Tiinkias Ecotourism Center, where you will find information on a very special ecotourism project located in the Amazon Rainforest of South East Ecuador, in the territory of the Achuar indigenous people.

The Tiinkias Ecotourism Center belongs to over 400 people living in seven Achuar communities deep in the Ecuadorian Amazon. Opened recently, it is part of a search for a sustainable community initiative to protect the ancient culture of the Achuar Indigenous people, and over 170,000 acres of pristine Amazon Rainforest.
